Darren Yates joined PAC this year as a Field Service Technician (FST) supporting several units across the ADF in developing and improving the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system. Before PAC, he served the RAAF for 12 years, and his last position was an AEA at 92WG, flying on the AP-3C Orion.
Based in Adelaide, Darren enjoys the fact of being able to work with most of the RAAF people he knows. He’s also glad to be part of PAC’s growing EFB team, helping the system mature —”I’m proud to be a contributor to this significant progress”.
When not at work, Darren spends time with his family, especially his kids. “The flexibility I have in this role has allowed me to spend more time with them than I’d be able to in most other jobs”. He also loves sports and is an avid Liverpool FC and Port Adelaide supporter. Music is another passion, and Darren plays a few musical instruments.
PAC is proud to have a highly skilled veteran like Darren on our team, delivering exceptional work to our Mission Systems capability.
