Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) has once again been recognised for its outstanding contributions to the Australian Defence Force (ADF), winning the prestigious Defence Business of the Year award at the Australian Aviation Awards for the second year in a row. This accolade follows their victory in 2023, marking their second consecutive nomination and win.
Representing PAC at the event were Head of Mission Systems, Ash Kissock, and Head of Joint C4i, Paul Halcrow. Their presence underscored the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the defence sector.
Ash Kissock, who delivered the acceptance speech, remarked, “This year is Pacific Aerospace Consulting’s 20th anniversary and over those years we’ve been delivering superior professional and technical services to Defence. Over 80% of our employees are veterans, providing us with collective decades of experience in Defence and Aviation. Receiving this award for the second time is testament to the skill and expertise of all our employees at Pacific Aerospace Consulting and the exceptional service they continue to deliver. Well done to all of them!”
PAC’s nomination and subsequent win highlight their significant contributions to the ADF over the past two decades. Notably, their work on the Initial Common Support Infrastructure (ICSI) and the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for the Navy’s MH-60R helicopters and the RAAF Super Hornets has been instrumental in enhancing the operational capabilities of the Australian Defence Force.
The awards ceremony was a grand affair, attended by over 450 industry professionals who gathered to celebrate the achievements of their colleagues and network with industry leaders and peers. The event champions the top-performing members of the aviation industry, including aviators, trainers, technologists, technicians, crew, executives, pilots, and the rising stars of tomorrow across both large and small businesses.
The Australian Aviation Awards also recognise airlines, airports, defence support businesses, and organisations that have implemented innovative sustainability initiatives, further showcasing the breadth and depth of excellence within the industry.
This recognition is a testament to PAC’s dedication to supporting the defence industry and their ongoing efforts to provide cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the ADF.
