PAC AUS is elated to announce we have been awarded the title of “Defence Support Business of the Year.” at the Australian Aviation Awards last night.
The award recognised our outstanding contributions to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) over the past two decades, and our dedication to advancing Australia’s defence capabilities on the global stage.
Our direct contributions to the ADF that contributed to our success include:
- Two major systems – the Initial Common Support Infrastructure (ICSI) and the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for the Navy’s MH-60R and RAAF Super Hornets.
- Our Mission Systems capability, which has established us as the premier SME within the ADF EFB ecosystem. Our team manage over 3,000 ADF EFB devices and dozens of hosted applications.
- Our Cyber Security team proudly boast two Infosec Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) assessors. There are currently only 200 IRAP assessors in Australia and very few specialists in Defence capabilities.
At the heart of our success lies our exceptional team, of which 80% are veterans. Their relentless commitment to addressing challenges head-on and upholding our national security has been instrumental in our journey.
According to Lee de Winton, AUS CEO, “True business success transcends financial achievements and encompasses customer satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and the nurturing of a positive work culture.”
Lee de Winton’s visionary leadership has been a driving force in shaping our trajectory. Her emphasis on cultivating strong relationships and fostering innovation has propelled us toward this achievement.
The Australian Aviation Awards was held at The Star in Sydney. The event recognises and celebrates outstanding professionals and businesses within the aviation industry. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to showcase our unwavering dedication and technological innovations which are instrumental in bolstering the nation’s security.
