March 31st marks 100 years of service for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and we could not let this day go by without recognizing the role of the RAAF in Australia’s history and in our company.
With an origin that can be traced back to the Australian Flying Corps, the RAAF is one of the original independent Air Forces. Steeped in a proud history and rich heritage, the RAAF is a world class military force, with a reputation for embracing cutting edge technology and punching well above its weight. Whether protecting Australia and its interests in times of peace or answering the call in the face of adversity, these continued successes are due in large part to the dedication, professionalism and integrity of those who choose to wear the ‘Blue Suit.’
The RAAF continues to produce a cadre of highly skilled veterans who enrich the world around us. The passion, commitment and experience they bring to PAC does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. We should know– a whopping 41% of our team are RAAF veterans and 10% are current RAAF reservists.
The RAAF centenary holds special significance to our team, especially as we reflect on the challenges of the last century. We recognize that this milestone would not have been possible without the sacrifice and contributions of the countless Australians that have served in the RAAF since its inception in 1921.
For the last 16 years, we are proud to support the Australian Defence Force operational community, and we look forward to supporting the incredible work the RAAF does.
To the ADF, thank you for giving us so many loyal and exceptionally talented team members. They are an integral part of our team and vital to our ongoing success.
To all RAAF members-past and present-our sincerest thanks for being there to support Australia and its interests-then, now and always.
