Benjamin Brown joined PAC in January 2022, and he’s an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) System Administrator as part of our Mission System’s team in Nowra.
Before working for PAC, Ben served the RAAF as a Communication Electronics Technician for 11 years. During this time, he stated that one of his professional achievements was upgrading and restoring a system “to go out the door on a short-notice operational deployment”. Ben says he has always been interested in electronics and building computers. “When in the military, I had the opportunity to go to the USA and learn a new system which was more networking and administration than electronics. This got me more into the system administration side than the electronics” – and that’s how he ended up at PAC!
Talking about PAC, one of the things that Ben likes the most about his job is team support.
“They’re always there to exchange ideas or to just have a chat when needed.”
Outside work hours, he enjoys cycling (after going through four knee surgeries) with his family, electronics, model building and travelling overseas whenever possible.
