Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) recently participated in the Indo Pacific 2023 International Maritime Exposition. Over the course of three days, the team showcased aerospace technology solutions and services to an international defence audience, emphasising our nearly 20-year history of cross-Pacific collaboration and support to Defence and industry.
As a predominantly aerospace focused company, the overarching theme, ‘Fleet 2035: Sea Power and the Future of Maritime Warfare,’ encouraged reflection on PAC’s evolving role in supporting sea power to ensure national security and economic prosperity.
Participating on the AIDN stand provided PAC with the opportunity to engage with like-minded businesses, each showcasing unique services for naval Defence operations. The expo, featuring 832 exhibitors, represented a spectrum from large corporations displaying weapons systems to smaller firms highlighting their innovative capabilities from drones to new antennae.
One particularly memorable event was PAC’s attendance at Amcham and Australian-British Chamber of Commerce’s Indo Pacific Breakfast, where a panel of senior US military, Australian Government, and industry leaders discussed the AUKUS trilateral relationship as well as the challenges and opportunities associated with acquiring nuclear-powered, conventionally armed submarines.
The conference program covered various topics, including technology acquisition, shipbuilding, nuclear technology, uncrewed systems, and emergency response. This was a great opportunity for networking with new and current clients, as well as Defence personnel whilst reconnecting with colleagues from overseas.
PAC would like to acknowledge the efforts of Indo Pacific 2023 organisers, exhibitors, and stakeholders. We now turn our attention to potential opportunities that may arise from this engagement. The success of the expo highlighted the importance of collaborative industry gatherings.
As Indo Pacific 2023 concluded, we look forward to seeing you in 2025, scheduled for November 4-6, 2025, at the ICC Sydney.
