PAC has been announced as a finalist in the Australian Aviation Awards 2023 for Defence Support Business of the Year. PAC AUS CEO, Lee de Winton, is also an Executive of the Year finalist.

Our nomination as Defence Support Business of the Year was due to our outstanding contributions to the ADF over the past two decades, specifically on our two major systems: the Initial Common Support Infrastructure (ICSI) and the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) for the Navy’s MH-60R and RAAF Super Hornets. In addition, our Mission Systems capability has established PAC as the premier SME within the ADF EFB ecosystem. Our team manage over 3,000 ADF EFB devices and dozens of hosted applications. Notably, our Cyber Security team proudly boasts two Infosec Registered Assessor Program (IRAP) assessors, which is a significant asset for the company as there are currently only 200 IRAP assessors in Australia and very few specialists in Defence capabilities.

In addition, our team is strategically located to support clients and partners. Our workforce comprises 80% veterans, professionals that intrinsically know the capabilities/systems problems and what needs to be done. PAC also offers client-embedded security and administration roles to assist in maintaining the services provided.

“Business success goes beyond revenue and profit. It encompasses factors such as customer satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, and cultivating a positive culture”, says PAC AUS CEO, Lee de Winton.

Lee, a finalist as Executive of the Year, has a long history in operational management and strategic planning, Defence, logistics and property development, and significant experience leading diverse teams. In addition to her role at PAC, Lee is a Chair of the Forum on Western Sydney Airport and serves as a Non-Executive Director of Newcastle Airport. Furthermore, she is a mentor in the Superstars of STEM Program and a Fellow and mentor of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).

Since joining PAC in 2022, Lee has prioritised building strong relationships with employees and clients and fostering business sectors’ growth and maturity. Empowering the team to showcase their ingenuity and take calculated risks has been instrumental in PAC’s success. Our staff are encouraged to move beyond traditional methodologies and implement innovative strategies to meet the dynamic needs of the ADF.

At PAC, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding expectations, and adapting to evolving project requirements. Our clients trust us to execute contracts efficiently, effectively, and with a keen eye on cost-consciousness and innovation.

We look forward to the Australian Aviation Awards ceremony in August, where the winners will be revealed. More details: Australian Aviation Awards – Home | Australian Aviation
