Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) has been honoured with nominations in two prestigious categories at the upcoming Australian Defence Industry Awards: SME of the Year and Cyber Business of the Year.
We are proud to announce that have been nominated for not one, but two prestigious categories at the Australian Defence Industry Awards!

Pacific Aerospace Consulting (PAC) has been honoured with nominations in two prestigious categories at the upcoming Australian Defence Industry Awards: SME of the Year and Cyber Business of the Year. These nominations recognise contributions that enhance operational capabilities for defence, government, and commercial clients.

Receiving multiple nominations for a second consecutive year is a significant milestone and a testament to the quality of our 80% veteran workforce.

PAC’s steadily growing customer base is driven by our reputation for mission-oriented cybersecurity and reliable capability delivery and sustainment of aerospace platforms, joint mission planning systems, tactical data links, and electronic flight bag (EFB) solutions for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). This diversity enables PAC to anticipate and swiftly adapt to evolving project needs, ensuring the secure delivery of top-tier customer service and innovative tailored solutions for a diverse customer set.

Underpinning PAC’s 20-years of success is its global reach and ability to navigate the complexities of international defence trade and cooperation, to include foreign military sales (FMS), cooperative programs, and direct commercial sales (DCS). Whether it is through on-site, remote, or deployed services, PAC provides seamless and secure operations and sustainment of critical Defence capabilities for the ADF, such as the Initial Common Support Infrastructure (ICSI) for tactical data links, Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS), and EFB.

Since launching a cybersecurity practice in 2022, PAC has continued to deliver assessments across multiple frameworks and develop customised solutions for mission systems and ICT security for clients at every phase of capability development. The company’s cybersecurity team is particularly notable for their expertise in both Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) and the forthcoming US Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which is expected to become mandatory for most companies seeking US Defense Department contracts. Whether our client is a start-up or a prime contractor focused on AUKUS and advanced capabilities, PAC’s cybersecurity team aims to support throughout the entire lifecycle of a capability.

The winners of the Australian Defence Industry Awards will be announced on Thursday, 18 July, at the National Convention Centre Canberra. The event will commence with a reception at 6.30pm, celebrating the achievements of all finalists and recognising the vital contributions of businesses within the Defence industry.
